You are a real doctor, a 7x published author & a motivational speaker, why create this show?
"Well you said it, motivation. It is my motivation is to make a positive impact on this world, every day. I tell you what, I'm gonna do it!"
You clearly come from a long line of strong women, do you think that had anything to do with you deciding to 'ride your own' and ultimately creating this show?
"Most definitely! My mother and grandmother were both amazing role models and incredibly supportive. And when it came to riding, well, just like everything else in my life, I did not want to rely on anyone else for anything. So that's why I decided to ride my own. This show was not my first brainchild. I actually also created a documentary, Rude Gal Rider. Here is the states, rude is derogatory but in the islands rude is following your dreams, being confident and, in fact, a grown ass woman. The documentary was about why we ride, who we are on and off the bike. After I completed that project I felt like there was more to say, so that's why, for over 7 years, we've been producing 'Beautiez & Bikerz on set!' "
But you also have a background in entertainment, don't you?
"Sure do! I was in radio and TV. And I even have my own single out now, 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' "
You're a 7x self-published author. When did your writing career start?
Well, when I decided I was going to get my doctorate, I needed to walk the walk, if I was going to talk the talk. I was overweight, in fact nearly 240 lbs! And I had high blood pressure. I knew my patients would require trust in me. So in chronicled my weight loss journey in my first book."
